Project Management Services
Everything we do within the business is treated as a project. Project management skills are, therefore, taken very seriously and
professional certification is mandatory for progression within the business. The business follows a ‘strong matrix’
structure where project management expertise is provided across the organisation.
Essential elements of the discipline is taught commencing with new staff inductions and the business actively encourages and
sponsors training and advanced project management certifications.
Overarching business practices draw heavily on principles as defined in the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).
Our staff are trained and project managers are preferably certified in a range of methodologies of application to systems integration
and ITC engineering disciplines for government and the private sector.
PRINCE2 is a preferred methodology for managing projects. Our support and service delivery management draws heavily on the Information
Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL). Agile methods including the Microsoft Solutions Framework (MSF) are typically applied to
smaller iterative systems design and software related endeavours.
Evidence Technology has deployed an integrated Project Management Information System. We train all staff,
contractors and where appropriate, client representatives in the use of the system.
This system has been adopted by the Project Management Institute for the management of its various projects. We are yet to discover
an internal or client requirement that the system does not address.
