| 29.01.10 | Evidence Technology commissions its 150th courtroom facility |
Slowly but surely has been the motto underpinning Evidence Technology’s approach to courtroom upgrades in New Zealand and Australia in
recent years. The Group recently announced the successful commissioning of its 150th courtroom.
Peter Carter, Director and Group Manager today congratulated design and installation team members saying “staff and our partners have
shown true dedication to clients – this is real achievement and the firm has demonstrated both determination and flexability”.
The same sentiments were expressed in an open letter to key partners, suppliers and client representatives including Rod Louy Gung of
ICE Design, Peter Patrick of Scientific Acoustics, Acoustic Technologies, Audio Poducts Group (BiAMP Distributor),
Tandberg, AMX Australia, Amber Technology and a host of other key product suppliers and distributors.
The business has played a relatively low profile in the industry and developed something of reputation for just getting on with the
job says John Abbott, New Zealand Country Manager. He says “there is nothing quite as satisfying as completing a job in time and on
budget and moving onto the next one. We have a truly excellent team and have had the benefit of working alongside some true professionals”.
The 150th installation is a landmark in itself. The business intends to released further information regarding the milestone in Mid February 2010.
Digitisation of the courtrooms and police interview rooms has been a focus for Evidence Technology in 2009. Carter noted in his statement
to staff and partners, the firm successfully completed more than 45 courtroom upgrades, commissioned over 550 police recording units and
now supports in excess of 650 sites across Australia and New Zealand.
