Specialist provider of advanced court and meeting room solutions, Evidence Technology has announced a strategic
partnership with Auraya Systems and the National Centre for Biometric Studies in Canberra, Australia.
Auraya is an internationally recognised innovator and thought leader in the field of voice biometrics and forensic audio technology.
Peter Carter, Director at Evidence Technology says “we are working actively with Clive Summerfield and Auraya Systems to
formulate technology solutions for the law and justice sector. The partnership with Auraya and the National Centre for
biometric Studies is a logical progression for the business. We are leveraging the teams advanced acoustic and digital
signal processing expertise in ways that deliver practical benefits for Clients”. The firm's customers include police,
correction, courts and associated service providers, legal firms and special investigative agencies.
Evidence Technology has licensed the new Auraya voice identify management system. This platform has been specifically
designed for law enforcement and intelligence gathering applications and is considered world best practice. Summerfield stated
“the technology is ideally suited for advanced voice processing in law and justice environments. Our current partners
include government, leading telecommunications and financial services providers”. Auraya is focusing on the problems
of fraud identification and authentication management.” Customers of Auraya include the likes of NAB, Vanguard and a
number of Federal Government Agencies.
“This is one of a number of strategic partnerships that Evidence Technology has entered into in recent months” says
Carter. “Clients of Evidence Technology are looking for secure, accurate and cost effective ways of managing practical
problems associated with the overwhelming volume of evidentiary media. Who is that on the recording. Are they really
who they say they are. What did they say and in what context. Who else was present at the time?”
Advanced digital signal processing, audio and video patten matching and phonetic based technology are practical tools at our disposal.
