Associate Professor Mark Pickering

Mark is employed by the University of New South Wales in the School of Engineering and Information Technology at the Australian Defence Force Academy. Since joining the University of New South Wales, he has lectured in a range of subjects including analogue communications techniques and digital image processing. He has been actively involved in the development of the recent MPEG international standards for audio visual communications. Mark holds Bachelor, Masters and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in electrical engineering. He is the author of over 70 technical articles and is co-author of a book on digital television.
